Gallery Update
Another late holiday update to the galleries.  Holidays are always a bit crazy for me and hopefully you haven't given up on me.  This time around I tried to post a lot of pics to make up for the long delay.  Check out the Image History page for the additions or All Galleries web page for a complete list of galleries.

Website Updates
Updated the Image Search to make it a bit easier to read and fixed the Info page of the website when you click the question mark next to the site name.

Me News
Learning the C# programming language, squeezing in some City of Villains whenever I get time, dating and even finding a bit of time for my workouts.  What does that spell... little time for myself or watching movies.  Anyway just wanted to give friends and family a quick update.

NEW COMPUTER!  Yeah!  A present from me to me is a new computer that cost less than $850 including shipping.  I did have to build it (as I have built every machine I have owned sans laptops), but I can say that I am incredibly satisfied with the results.  Building a PC has become extremely easy and requires little effort these days.  I will be posting a review of the machine including a parts list on my review section soon for those who might like to replicate my reasonably priced game machine.

War on the Holidays... err... Christmas
I hate to wade into this one, but a reality check is needed.  First, there is nothing wrong with telling someone Merry Christmas.  However Christians should keep in mind that the Christmas origin is not a secular holiday and isn't celebrated by everyone.  Happy Holidays is simply a phrase to include everyone whether they celebrate the birth of Christ or not.  Just because your favorite shopping store is saying Happy Holidays doesn't mean they are harming your faith rather they are just trying to include everyone in the festivities.  So for the ultra-sensitive out there take a deep breath and try to enjoy the season Christmas, New Years and all the rest.

Gallery Update
A late update to the galleries, but as usual a large one.  I am ever busy learning new programming languages and such so web updates are still slow, but keep checking in from time to time...  I don't plan on missing more than two months of updates.  Check out the Image History page for the additions or All Galleries web page for a complete list of galleries.

Me News
Even more SUPER BUSY to report.  Still doing after hours work, learning C# and dating.  Coupled with my new crazy work out schedule I have been finding time short these days.  With the holidays on the horizon don't count on updates coming any faster.

Update Movie Pick
This one is a wide release, but deserves a mention.  Layer Cake is a great movie that will keep you on the end of your seat till the end.  I don't want to say too much about this movie since it might ruin plot  for you, but if you like Guy Ritchie style movies (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch) then you will probably love this one.  It is a bit rough so I wouldn't let the kiddies anywhere near this movie.

Some Christians Scare Me
This will likely get me a few death threats, but I have to say it.  Pat Robertson is freakin' scary.  When he prayed for people to be removed from the Supreme Court, I decided to take it in a positive manner rather than him actually advocating that the lord should smite some liberals from the court.  I forgive him for some of the past rhetoric he spouted in the 80s and early 90s such as "They scream, "First Amendment." Of course, the First Amendment, as you and I both know, is a restriction on Congress.... So it really doesn't have anything to do with what you say or what I say, one way or the other."  However, what do I see when I flip on the news this morning...  Pat Robertson encouraging the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  He is a Christian fundamentalist and while not as dangerous as an organized terrorist group, it scares me that he could be with that kind of justification.  Hopefully one day he will see that advocating killing "non-believers" is the same justification used by Muslim extremists.  Funny enough after advocating the ten commandments you would think that one commandment "Thou Shall not Kill" might apply in this situation.  I don't remember any qualifying remarks wrapped around that, but I guess if we can ignore "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord: even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord" (Deuteronomy 23:2) or "For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death" (Mark 7:10) we can easily trim out Thou Shall Not Kill as well.

So death threats away...

Me News
Treated like shit... I need somewhere to vent before I go out and get into some brawl at a bar.  I was at a party tonight for a friends birthday party and arrrrrrr.....  I am pissed and that doesn't happen very often.  Anyway, came in and said hi to a certain person (not the b-day boy), ignored.  Went up and tried to have a quick "how are you doing" conversation, ignored and walked away.  OK, cool I get it... I have rabies or something.  I get asked to drive this person due to drinking... sure I am a nice guy... hang out for an extra hour waiting... finally sits down beside me and asks me to call a friend so they can have a conversation... not happy, but OK.  End of the night, person leaves and nobody to drive home.  Fine, but not even a bye or thanks for hanging around.  I don't wish people bad because it puts me in a bad place, but I have to admit I will likely go out of my way in the future to not help this person if they need it.  I am not proud of that statement as I think it goes against my character, but I am fuming... really angry.

I am going to go pound on BOB my punching dummy for a while and try to process this anger.  I haven't been this mad in almost a decade.

Gallery Update
Another late update, but I did go all out and post a lot of images.  Again, busy time of the year for me so please be patient.  Updates will come in time.  Check out the Image History page for the additions or All Galleries web page for a complete list of galleries.

Me News
More SUPER BUSY to report.  I have been doing a lot of after hours projects to get some money in the bank thus everything else has suffered.  Beyond that my workouts have intensified to 3 times a week at 1.5 hours per session.  I also started a plan of hiking up Kennesaw Mountain once a week to further my goal of getting back into some kind of reasonable shape.

Friend News
My good buddy Marc finally broke down and got a motorcycle.  We are going on weekend rides now so if you are in the Woodstock, GA area shoot me an email if you want to tag along some time.

Update Movie Pick
The movie pick this week is a limited theater release.  It is called The Descent and it is one of the best horror movies I have seen in a while.  I won't ruin any of the movie, but I can say it involves a group of women getting lost in a cave and then possibly running into some bad critters.  Very good movie if you are into horror.  Let me know what you think of the ending... took me a couple minutes to figure it all out and I love it when a movie ends like that.

Gallery Update
Well it is a month late, but it is here.  I tried to post an update that is larger than normal, but it isn't two months worth.  This time of year is my busy season so everyone will have to be patient over the next month or two.  Check out the Image History page for the additions or All Galleries web page for a complete list of galleries.

Me News
Like I said above... SUPER BUSY.  On top of that, I have been trying to get my house in order so I can sell it sometime soon.  I can't believe how hard landscape work is.  Other than some side work that has been keeping me busy and landscaping chores, I have latched onto a new game called Guild Wars.  I don't get to play it much, but what little free time I get I have been spending there.  Great game BTW.

Also, my birthday is coming up soon... I like gifts and I am not adverse to getting them.

Update Movie Pick
I haven't seen many movies recently, but I have been watching foreign flics when I can.  I managed to run across a great movie called Musa - The Warrior.  This is definitely a top movie and I HIGHLY recommend watching it.  It does have subtitles, but for any real movie buff this shouldn't be a big deal.  I don't know how a movie this good flew under my radar so long, but fortunately I got lucky and ran across it.  Great story that has an epic feel, one of Asia's best movies and while not Braveheart good it is in the same great company.

Gallery Update
Thanks to a new contributor, we have a really great gallery update this month.  It includes several new women as well as a rather large set of images posted this month.  Check out the Image History page for the additions.

Martha is Free
I am not a Martha Stewart fan and I think she did get greedy and bilk that money, but regardless of my past opinions I have to take my hat off to her.  She could have ducked and dodged her way out of it, but she took it on the chin and I say kudos.  Not enough people own up these days and she did.

Stop the Tech Insanity
I have loved tech all my life, but truth is it is becoming a cash sink for companies.  Just because something new is out doesn't mean it is better.  If you are swapping out a system, you should evaluate the cost impact of moving.  Great that they are making things faster and smaller, but what does that mean to your bottom line?  I would also add enough with the writers in tech magazines talking about the end of the world is near every time Microsoft finds another security problem in windows.  I am not a Microsoft fanboi and most of my friends will tell you I think they are evil, but the vast majority of business will not crumble if a worm hits WinXP.  The sky won't fall and hit us all on the head.  I think spam and security issues have become an ongoing Y2K type discussion.  My life will keep going on despite what magazine tech writers say is going to happen.

AC Tool still going strong
I have been cranking out AC Tool releases these last few weeks to keep it alive and breathing.  If you haven't gotten the latest version in a while, you might want to check out www.actool.net.

Website News
As promised a new Gallery Search feature has been installed.  You can catch it to the left when in Gallery Section.  It is pretty crude, but it works and it is fast.

Gallery Update
Another fairly large gallery update.  I have been working on a program that scans for image links, downloads and organizes the links, then sets up another one of my programs to download the image libraries.  I don't want to toot my own horn, but gallery updates are getting easier and hopefully larger from now on.  Check out the Image History page for the additions.

Website News
The transition was pretty smooth to the new servers.  I know have full root access over my own server which is a bit overwhelming since I know jack about Linux web services, but I seem to have muddled through the rough spots.  Let me know what problems you run into.

I plan on creating a Gallery Index script in the next couple weeks since the number of people housed in galleries on my site are getting rather large and unwieldy.  I also want to add in some "popular hit" type scripts so everyone can see who are the top picks on the site.  Last but not least, I may finish up a screen saver I have been working on that will allow you to select a series of galleries, automatically download the images in the gallery to your local computer and rotate them.  It will even get new images when they are posted if you so chose.  I have no estimate on the release date, but I hope sometime in the next couple months.

Me News
I managed to eat some bad Mexican and wow last week sucked.  Somehow the food poisoning translated into a flu like sickness toward the end of the week and I am still sucking wind on that one.  Enough about that.

I did meet someone a while back and it looks like that might be pan out into a casual date setup when I can find some time.  Apparently women like to hang out with me, but even at my ripe mid 30 age I still have "DON'T GET SERIOUS" stamped on my forehead.  Unattached fun was great in my 20s, but I still hoping to find more somewhere.  I guess I am destined to date young fun seeking 20 year old women the rest of my life.  Things could be worse I suppose.

For those in the know, I have finally modified my diet to a more strict calorie intake.  Years of sitting on my rear programming has taken its toll.  Last year I gave up cokes and dessert... this year went pasta, white bread, rice, pizza, fries and a complete switch to water sans the occasional small glass of juice.  I am still eating pretty good (steak, burgers, etc), but nothing fast food.  Seems to be working since I have managed to lose about 8% of my weight in the first month without modifying my fairly lame exercise schedule.  Lets hope the diet continues to reap benefits enough to get me back to an occasional slice of pizza...  I miss pizza soooooo much.

Update Movie Pick
This movie is a recent DVD that really deserves a look if you are into any kind of behind the scenes documentary type films or reality shows.  Metallica: Some Kind of Monster is incredible.  I am a fan of Metallica, but that isn't the attraction to the film.  The raw behind the scenes access to a historic metal band's therapy and music sessions is completely unscripted and really shows insight into not only a band, but a group of people that work closely together and the baggage that is generated from their long association.  Words can't do this documentary justice.  It does start off slow, but the result at the end is so satisfying that I feel like I was a voyeur to someone's life and not just watching a film.  Truly incredible and puts to shame anything VH1 Behind the Music series has done.  Talk about surreal life... I give this a definite thumbs up.

A new gallery update for the new year.  Check out the Image History page for the additions.

Website News
The website will be moving to an upscale hosting company.  We have outgrown the current provider and I have decided to move to a hosting company that costs a bit more, but is well known for their service and performance.

Me News
My life BLOWS!   Work is really crappy and my personal life has hit the skids.  The girl I have been chasing for the last few weeks has proven to be out of reach and I am pretty ill about the whole thing.

On the good news side, my new nephew kicks butt.  He already has the superman pose down and I couldn't be happier that we finally have someone in the family that will get all my crap when I kick the bucket.
